2009 - Our goals for 2009 include but are not limited to a Thermal Imaging Unit for PWC Fire and Rescue and Capnography Equipment for Manassas Fire and Rescue.

Thermal Imaging Camera's are hand held camera's that assist Fire Fighters in searching through heavily smoked filled buildings and homes allowing them to more safely and quickly scan for thermal images of frightened, hiding children or lost, trapped or unconscious adults. Seconds count in these situations as more deaths are caused by smoke inhalation than fire. These Units can show hidden fires in ceilings, walls and floors thus helping to prevent unexpected collapse and injury and they can help detect electrical fires, saving on time and property damage. But mostly they can help save the life of a child, loved one, friend or neighbor. We are working towards funding a Thermal Imaging Camera for the PW Department Fire and Rescue.

Our second goal is Capnography Equipment for the City of Manassas Fire and Rescue Department. This life saving equipment is a "sensitive indicator of overall respiratory function and emergency resuscitation measures, employed to monitor carbon dioxide levels in the patient's exhaled air, assures that advanced airway management has been correctly administered and maintained during patient transport and is considered to be of ultimate criticality and of premier importance." Breathing is important. Getting the right amount of oxygen can be critical. If you're en route to a hospital this equipment can make the difference. And finally there are several other worthy requests that if funding prevails, we will work toward fulfilling.

2002 - Placed a Life Saving Thermal Imaging Camera with Prince William County Fire Department;
2003 - Placed a second Life Saving Thermal Imaging Camera with PWC Fire Department;
2004 - Placed 3 Automated External Defibrillators (AED's), one each to PWC Police, PWC Sheriff's Office and the City of Manassas, 
2005 - Placed 4 Life Saving AED‰'s, one each to PWC Sheriff's Office, PWC Police Department, PWC Public Schools & the City Of Manassas.
2006 - Placed 3 GPS Units with PWC Fire & Rescue, an additional AED to PWC Police, a Confined Space Rescue tripod with Manassas Rescue Squad, and 30 Fire & Rescue Flashlights with Greater Manassas Volunteer Fire Department. 
2007 - Placed 5 District Wide AED Trainers to PWC Public Schools, placed a 4th AED with PWC Police (Swat Team), Upgraded remaining 16 Manassas City Schools AED's; and provided an AED Capnography Upgrade to the City of Manassas.
2008 - Placed life saving AED with PWC Police. Secured Fire Fighter Bunker Gear for the newly merged Manassas Fire Department.

Scholarships:
Each year Cross Country Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students on the Brentsville District High School Cross Country Team.
